Pō ‘Ole

Spring to Summer 2023
Hui Elua • March 28th & 29th

We will continue our focus on our Lā Hānau.  As we explore the concept of a "birth moon" we can see that there are a lot more qualities than just a single inoa Mahina.

Because Mahina Hapalua Mua (first quarter) occurs during the ‘Ole moons we will take a close look the most symmetrical of all shapes.  Half-light / Half-dark.  A direct revelation of "balance."

Each Mahina has particular qualities such as these that can be seen directly in her shape.

To understand our Mahina Lā Hanau we will look more closely at both hui Mahina (moon groups) as well as general qualities of Kāne & Wahine that can be found throughout the malama.
